The National Weather Service of Mexico, in its latest notice issued at 9:15 (local time) reported that the hurricane will cause «Intense point rains in Yucatán and Quintana Roo (north), very strong point rains in Campeche and strong point rains in Veracruz (south) and Tabasco»

The National Hurricane Center of the United States (NHC), reported on the danger posed by the passage of Hurricane Milton through the Florida peninsula, after its advance towards southeastern Mexico and possible evolution to the south of the United States.

The National Weather Service of Mexico, in its last notice, icssued at 9:15 (local time) reported that the hurricane will cause «Intense point rains in Yucatán and Quintana Roo (north), very strong point rains in Campeche and strong point rains in Veracruz (south) and Tabasco»

It also predicted the scourge of wind gusts of 180 to 200 km/h, waves of 6 to 8 m high and possible formation of seabeds on the coasts of Yucatán; gusts of 70 to 90 km/h; wave of 2 to 4 meters high and possible formation of sea-spouts on the coasts of Campeche (north) and Quintana Roo (north) and waves from 60 to 80 km/h and wave of 1 to 3 meters high on the coasts of Veracruz (south) and Tabasco».

It also announced storm surges of up to 2 meters over the areas of Campeche and Yucatán.

On the other hand, alerted to the possible evolution of its trajectory to the State of Florida,, United States being able to turn towards the east and northeast between today and Wednesday 9 October.

«It is predicted that the center of Milton will approach the west coast of the Florida peninsula on Wednesday. The hurricane will likely land in Florida on Wednesday night. The maximum sustained winds will be about 250 km/h with stronger gusts», reported NHC.»
